About

SPLAT! was a community blog, hosted by News Limited and written and moderated by Evan Maloney.

A screenwriter and great author of the apparently brilliant Tofu Landing (I really need to get around to reading that… bad Jen!), Evan built a community of proud Splatters. He called on them to help him understand the world and all that is a part of it – film, sex, art, men’s issues and tourists with cameras.

Splatters came together from around the world (well, mostly from around Australia) to form a close-knit community of friendship, support and smiles. Friendships have developed and relationships have blossomed (*cough* Smocust *cough*). Smiles have been granted and tears shed. Stories have been shared and people heard. And that’s the real beauty of SPLAT!

In July 2010, Evan moved onto bigger and bolder projects in script development. All Splatters mourned their incredible loss but wished him well. However, many of us just couldn’t let go. And from our grief, Splat On was formed.

Splat On welcomes all Splatters, old and new, young and umm… mature, from all over the globe. We welcome you to join us, share your thoughts, your opinions, and your lives.

Having never tinkered with Wikipedia before, I’ve a feeling I’d do some serious damage, but is it worth updating the wiki page to include the fate of Splat! and it’s legacy?

Anyone got any experience dabbling with Wikipedia articles?
